So the Azurri deservedly won it in the end.





I might have enjoyed the manic Italian celebrations in central London a bit more if I wasn't in the middle of a 2 and a half hour odyssee from Whitechapel to Greenford, cursing London Transport and my increasingly all-consuming hunger all the way. If there's one thing we English are worse at then football it's transporting a person from one part of London to another.
I also now see that we are rank amateurs in the world of beeping horns. Reckon there were a few deaf pigeons this morning.
So with luck some kind of normal service might be resumed here. If I can continue not watching Big Brother that is...
