Arctic Monkeys Photos
As promised here are some pictures from Thursday's Arctic Monkeys gig. They didn't come out too well to be honest, since the camera didn't seem to want to focus properly... but a couple are pretty nice.
Here's a great 7 inch I picked up last week... it's the debut single by New Rhodes, on the wonderful Moshi Moshi Records (home of Hot Chip, Architecture in Helsinki and Lo-Fi Fnk amongst others...)
I could imagine this going down a storm at the Indie Disco, with its anthemic chorus and catchy hooks. This should have given them a bit of chart action I reckon. According to their website, this is about to be released in the US as the lead track on a forthcoming EP. Maybe you can help 'em make it big over there?
This actually came out last year, and the band have released 2 further singles on Moshi Moshi. Their last single, 'From The Beginning' is also rather good....
